Campaign Story

We are a couple who may look different on the surface, but share the same dream of becoming parents. One of us is a lifelong car enthusiast—someone who finds joy in engines, restorations, JDM car lifestyle and the satisfaction of fixing what’s broken. The other is a musical theater nerd at heart, who believes deeply in storytelling, emotion, and the power of hope, even when the curtain hasn’t risen yet.

I also work in military child care settings, supporting children and families who serve our country. Every day, I help create safe, nurturing environments for young children and walk alongside parents who are balancing service, separation, and sacrifice. My career is centered on caring for children and supporting families—yet becoming a parent myself has remained just out of reach. That contrast has been both humbling and deeply emotional, and it has only strengthened my desire to build a family of my own.

Together, we have always imagined a home filled with love, curiosity, laughter, and encouragement. Parenthood, to us, means showing up—being present in the small moments, teaching resilience, and celebrating who a child becomes. It means building something meaningful together.

Our journey to parenthood has not been easy. After 10 years of trying to conceive naturally, we turned to fertility treatment with cautious hope. While our IVF cycles have shown promise—our eggs fertilize normally—our embryos have repeatedly stopped developing before implantation. Each cycle has brought excitement, followed by heartbreak we never expected to endure. Still, we continue to move forward, holding on to hope.

This journey has taken a significant emotional, physical, and financial toll. We have exhausted savings and personal resources in pursuit of becoming parents, making it increasingly difficult to continue treatment without support. With growing older, we feel that time is running out. Yet our commitment to this dream has never faded.

We are seeking support through the Gift of Parenthood because we believe in its mission: helping families grow when the path is complicated and uncertain. With support, we hope to continue fertility treatment and take another step toward the family we have always dreamed of creating.
